About this scholarship

The Governor Guinn Millennium Scholarship provides up to $10,000 (paid per credit hour) toward tuition for Nevada high school graduates who attend an eligible Nevada institution (NSHE schools). Eligibility is automatic - the Treasurer's office determines it from transcripts and mails award packets in early August. Requires a Nevada diploma with a 3.25+ weighted or unweighted GPA (or 21 ACT / 1070 SAT), required core coursework (4 English, 4 math, 3 science, 3 social science), and Nevada residency for at least two years of high school. To retain it, students must earn 12+ credits/semester and maintain a 2.75+ college GPA.

Renewal terms: Renewable while maintaining 12+ credits/semester and 2.75+ GPA; up to $10,000 total.
