New Jersey Garden State Guarantee (GSG)

New Jersey residents with household AGI $0–$65,000, enrolled full-time (12+ credits) in their third or fourth year (60–128 credits) at an in-state public four-year college, pursuing a first bachelor's degree; NJ Dreamers eligible via NJ Alternative Application.

The Garden State Guarantee (GSG) lets eligible New Jersey residents pay a net price of $0 for tuition and fees during their third and fourth years of study at an in-state, public, four-year college or university. Students with an annual Adjusted Gross Income between $0 and $65,000 who are enrolled full-time (12+ credits) and pursuing their first bachelor's degree qualify; GSG covers tuition and fees not already covered by federal and state aid or other scholarships. Eligibility runs up to 4 semesters or until 128 credits are reached. NJ Dreamers may qualify via the NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application.

Renewal terms: Up to 4 semesters of GSG (third and fourth years), or until 128 accumulated credits, whichever comes first, with continued full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
