The Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG) is New Jersey's tuition-free community college program. For eligible NJ residents with an Adjusted Gross Income between $0 and $65,000, CCOG covers any remaining tuition (up to 18 credits per term) and approved education fees for a first associate degree after all other grants and scholarships are applied. Students must enroll in at least 6 credits per semester at a NJ community college and make satisfactory academic progress. NJ Dreamers may qualify via the NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application.
Renewal terms: Renewable each year with continued eligibility, AGI within range, and satisfactory academic progress until the first associate degree is earned.
