The Michigan Achievement Scholarship provides up to $5,500 per year (up to five years, $27,500 total) toward a bachelor's degree at a Michigan public university, private college, or four-year community college program; up to $4,000/yr at community colleges; and up to $2,000/yr for skills training. Eligibility requires a Michigan high school diploma in 2023 or later, Michigan residency, enrollment within 15 months of graduation, and a FAFSA Student Aid Index of 30,000 or less. There is no GPA requirement and no separate application—awarded automatically from the FAFSA.
Renewal terms: Renewable up to 5 years (bachelor's track) with continued FAFSA filing and eligibility.
