The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognize students in grades 7-12 across 29 art and writing categories. Regional Gold Key works advance to national judging. Graduating seniors may submit a six-work portfolio: Gold Medal Portfolio winners receive $12,500 scholarships and Silver Medal with Distinction Portfolio winners receive $2,000. Entry fees ($10/work, $30/portfolio) can be waived for financial hardship.
