Who's eligible
U.S. citizens at least 17 and under 31 in the year of commissioning, with an unweighted high school GPA of at least 2.50, who have taken the SAT or ACT (no minimum score published), pass the Army Physical Fitness Assessment and meet the waist-to-height standard.

The Army ROTC four-year scholarship pays either tuition and fees or room and board (not both), plus $420 a month during the school year and $1,200 a year for books. Applications are reviewed in three rounds, due Oct 12, 2026, Jan 18, 2027 and Mar 8, 2027; applications must be started by Mar 4, 2027. Recipients take on an eight-year Army service obligation after college, but may leave ROTC after their freshman year without obligation.
Renewal terms: Four-year scholarship. Recipients may leave ROTC after their freshman year of college without any obligation.
