Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards

Graduating high school seniors of Hispanic heritage (incl. Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Philippines ancestry) with a 3.0+ unweighted GPA, enrolling in an accredited higher-ed institution the following year.

The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards honor graduating Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community. Students apply in a category (Community Service, Education, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Green Sustainability, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, Public Service & Social Justice, Technology). Gold, Silver, and Bronze recipients at regional and national levels receive one-time educational grants (amounts vary by level and category) that can fund college or a community-service initiative. Heritage qualifies broadly: ancestry from Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, or the Philippines.
